Invitations for this year's 'Alka' lancing tournament without Norac's photo

SINJ, July 13 (Hina) - The invitations for this year's 290th "Alka"lancing tournament, which the "Alka" society is sending on Wednesdayto 900 addresses, do not have the photo of General Mirko Norac, theformal Alka Duke serving a sentence for war crimes, as it has been thecase in the past.
SINJ, July 13 (Hina) - The invitations for this year's 290th "Alka" lancing tournament, which the "Alka" society is sending on Wednesday to 900 addresses, do not have the photo of General Mirko Norac, the formal Alka Duke serving a sentence for war crimes, as it has been the case in the past.

Norac will this year be replaced by Croatian Army Brigadier Ivan Cikara, the steering committee of the "Alka" society decided.

The steering committee has made a list of state and other officials who will be invited to attend the 290th tournament which will be held on 7 August.

The first on the list are President Mesic, Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, the committee said
