The national air carrier said this was the earliest record of the millionth passenger in a year.
Croatia Airlines planes flew 930,240 passengers in the first seven moths this year, an 8-percent rise from the comparable period of last year.
Croatia Airlines' first commercial flight took place on 5 May 1991 from Zagreb to Split, marking the start of regular domestic flying. On 5 April 1992, Croatia Airlines began flying internationally, with the first such flight being from Zagreb to Frankfurt.
Until mid-September last year, it transported 15 million passengers.
