The Bureau has reported that in the second half of 2006, a mere 12.5 percent of employed Croatians had a university degree and 7.2 percent of employees were graduates from three-year vocational colleges.
On the other hand, employees who attended only primary school accounted for 18.8 percent of the employed labour force in the second half of 2006.
The highest percent was of those who finished high schools, that is 61.5 percent of workers passed secondary education.
According to the Bureau's statistics on the educational structure of job-seekers, those with high school made up 68.2 percent of the jobless in the said period. One fifth of job-seekers had attended primary education and those with college and university degrees accounted for 11.2 percent of Croatians who sought jobs in the said period.
