This was a fall of 6.2 percent from April and 5.1 percent rise in comparison to the average net wage paid per hour in May 2006.
This May saw 181 paid working hours, nine hours more than in April.
Air traffic employees earned 47.95 kuna per hour. The second-highest wage per hour was in the research and development sector (39.13 kuna).
The lowest wage per hour was paid to employees in the clothes-making sector. They made 13.78 kuna an hour. Slightly above this amount was the hour wage of 13.94 kuna for workers in leather manufacture.
