The fall was "because it's gone up for days," one trader said. "It needs to correct a bit." Active March last traded 28 sterling lower at 1,119 stg, on volume of 4,578 lots of the total 6,843. There had been some trade hedge selling at the highs, and then, as the market came lower, some sell stops were triggered, the trader said.
