While the report is unlikely to contain any surprises in its domestic estimates, it could provide the market with new direction based on foreign data, analysts said. Last week, State Statistics Bureau in China reported domestic production at 18.4 million bales. USDA pegged China's crop at 17.50 million bales in its December report. Most-active March ended 0.84 cent higher at 75.15 cents a lb, traded 75.65 to 74.95 cents. The back months finished 1.00 higher to 0.30 lower. Volume was estimated at 6,500 lots.
