ZAGREB, Jan 27 (Hina) - The Serb National Party (SNS) today
officially rejected the termination of the UNPROFOR mandate in
Croatia.
Speaking at a press conference, SNS president Milan Dukic
called for the establishment of a federal unit within Croatia where
Serbs could enjoy wide political autonomy.
Asked if he favoured the federalization of Croatia, Dukic said
he supported the idea of full political autonomy.
But SNS vice-president Veselin Pejnovic said Croatia should be
constructed as a country of regions.
Journalists were given copies of letters the SNS had so far
sent to President Franjo Tudjman, Government officials and
international institutions.
