ZAGREB, Jan 10 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman today
recieved credentials from Pakistani Ambassador Muhamad Rashid Beg.
Ambassador Beg said the Pakistani government and people were
concerned about the situation in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
President Tudjman praised the role of Pakistan and other
Islamic countries in helping establish friendly relations between
the Croat and Moslem communities in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Tudjman stressed Pakistan's friendship could play an important
role in ending the crisis in occupied Croatian territories and the
war in Bosnia.
The ceremony was also attended by Croatian Foreign Minister
Mate Granic.
