SARAJEVO, Sept 30 (Hina) - International High Representative Carl
Bildt said on Monday evening after the first meeting of the
three-man Bosnian Presidency that it had agreed to start the
process of establishing joint institutions of power.
We expect the first step to be the appointment of the
Council of Ministers, which should be completed by the end of
October, Bildt told reporters outside the Saraj motel where the
Presidency meeting had taken place.
The meeting lasted almost four and a half hours after which
its participants - Moslem representative Alija Izetbegovic, Croat
Kresimir Zubak and Serb Momcilo Krajisnik - did not make any
statements.
Bildt said that the three men agreed to proceed with
searching for missing persons and releasing the remaining
prisoners of war.
The high representative described the atmosphere of the
meeting as businesslike, noting that the participants had shaken
hands both at its start and at its end.
Bildt said that the national House of Representatives was
expected to be established between 5 and 7 October.
