SARAJEVO, Sept 30 (Hina) - The three members of Bosnia-
Herzegovina's newly-elected collective presidency met for the
first time on the outskirts of Sarajevo on Monday.
The meeting began at 16.15 hours at the Saraj motel on the
city's eastern exit route towards the Serb headquarters of Pale.
Croat and Serb representatives Kresimir Zubak and Momcilo
Krajisnik arrived at around 15.00 hours while Alija Izetbegovic,
Moslem representative and chairman of the Presidency, arrived an
hour later.
Izetbegovic was accompanied by Michael Steiner, deputy to
the international community's high representative for Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
The three Presidency members began the meeting behind closed
doors after brief separate talks with their aides.
High Representative Carl Bildt and Steiner were present at
the start of the talks but left the meeting room soon after.
Journalists were not allowed access to the venue which was
kept under tight security. A statement from the meeting was
expected later in the day.
