SARAJEVO, Sept 28 (Hina) - The recently-elected Presidency of
Bosnia-Herzegovina is expected to hold its first meeting early
next week, a spokesman for the international community's High
Representative said in Sarajevo on Saturday.
The exact place and date of the meeting have not yet been
determined, but this is expected to be agreed upon over the
weekend, spokesman Colum Murphy told a news conference.
The Office of High Representative Carl Bidlt is only
supervising preparations for this meeting and its convocation is
a matter of agreement between the three members of the
Presidency, Murhphy said.
We assume that they are in permanent contact and hope that the
meeting will be held early next week, he added.
Murphy announced that the Standing Committee supervising the
implementation of the peace agreement would meet next Wednesday.
The Serb side has rejected the building of the wartime Bosnian
Presideny as a venue of the meeting. Momcilo Krajisnik, Serb
member of the newly-elected Presidency, has said several times
that he would feel unsafe there.
Spokespersons for Bildt's office have said that several
locations are being considered, and the most frequently mentioned
was "Konak", the official residency of the Bosnian Presidency in
the old part of Sarajevo.
