Based on the original reports from the polling stations, the
irregularities had been rectified, Thijn said.
Van Thijn added that prior to the holding of municipal
elections planned for the end of the year, full freedom of movement
had to be ensured.
The preparation for the municipal elections should take at
least four months and it was realistic that they should be
announced for next April, he said.
