SARAJEVO, 13 Sept (Hina) - All preparations for the conduct of
Bosnian general elections have been completed and ballots have
already been transported to the regional offices of the
Organization for Security and Cooperation (OSCE), from where they
will be taken to the polling stations, OSCE mission spokesman
Thomas Leary said Friday.
Speaking at a press conference in Sarajevo, Leary confirmed
that the voting of members of the armed forces and police had
started today. It was expected that some 3,000 voters would take
part in the elections today, Leary said.
UN spokesman in Sarajevo, Alexander Ivanko, said that
tomorrow's elections would probably be 'the most complex elections
of the century'.
