'I think that the meeting should have been organized better
and that more effort should have been put forth so that the
agreement be signed', Minister Granic said.
The talks on the sub-regional arms control between Croatia,
Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the
Republika Srpska were to be concluded today with the signing of
the agreement, but the question of the status of Bosnian Serbs,
as a party to the contract, remained unsolved.
'We will try to come to an agreement in this short period of
time, although it does not seem easy', Granic said.
There is a possibility that the talks could continue in
Florence, Granic added, but according to the Dayton peace deal,
the arms control agreement should be signed today by midnight.
