SARAJEVO, 10 June (Hina) - Aide to the U.S. Secretary of State, James Pardew on Monday held talks with the highest officials of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, in an attempt to find a solution for
disputable provisions of the federal Defence Law. After the talks with Bosnian President Alija Izetbegovic, Pardew held separate talks with the President of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kresimir Zubak, Defence Minister Vladimir Soljic and Deputy Defence Minister Hasan Cengic.

James Pardew on Monday held talks with the highest officials of
Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, in
an attempt to find a solution for disputable provisions of the
federal Defence Law. After the talks with Bosnian President Alija
Izetbegovic, Pardew held separate talks with the President of the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kresimir Zubak, Defence
Minister Vladimir Soljic and Deputy Defence Minister Hasan

According to a statement issued by Zubak's office, the talks
focused on difficulties regarding the Defence Law and on possible
solutions. The talks with Defence Minister Soljic and his deputy
Cengic focused on the organisation of the defence system command
as well as on the implementation of the 'Equip and Train'
program.
Pardew and the commander of the Bosnian army Main
Headquarters, General Rasim Delic, discussed recent measures in
gathering money for the training of the federal defence forces.
