Croatian Foreign Minister, Mate Granic, who signed the
agreements on behalf of Croatia, described the signing of the
agreements as "progress in bilateral relations".
On behalf of Great Britain, the agreements were signed by
an official of the British Foreign Ministry, Nicholas Bonsor, who
is visiting Croatia.
The agreements would pave the way for the development of
cooperation in tourism and improvement of air traffic between the
two countries, Bonsor said after the signing ceremony.
The talks with Mr Bonsor focused on the situation in the
region, especially in connection with the Rome agreements on the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Granic said. Croatia appreciated
Great Britain's support for the reintegration of the Croatian
Danubian area and for Croatia's efforts to join European
integration processes and security organisations, especially the
Partnership for Peace, Granic said.
