ZAGREB, Feb 21 (Hina) - British companies had both great potentials
and interest in joining all forms of economic activities in
Croatia, the Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa told reporters after
his meeting with a group of twenty British businessmen. the talks
were held in Zagreb on Wednesday. The businessmen, led by a state
minister in the British Foreign Office, Nicholas Bonsor, will stay
in Croatia for several days. #L#
Minister Bonsor described the meeting with Premier Matesa as
'very useful'.
The talks focused on economic topics and current political
questions. The British minister said his government acknowledged
Croatia's efforts in lessening tensions in Mostar and its active
role in Bosniac-Croat relations in the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
Minister Bonsor is also well-known as an active yachtsman. He
was therefore invited to visit a Match-race regatta which is to be
held in Dubrovnik in mid September.
