ZAGREB, Sept 11 (Hina) - The Croatian government relieved Milovan Sibl
of duty as Hina's director, appointing Branko Salaj in his stead, the
government's Communications Office said in a statement on Thursday.
Salaj will hold the office temporarily, until the Croatian parliament
appoints Hina's director in line with provisions of the Act on Hina.
The government proposed to the parliament that Salaj be appointed
the news agency's new director, the government's statement concluded.
