KOSOVO DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE ELECTS NEW PRESIDENCY

( Editorial: --> 9793 ) PRISTINA, March 15 (Hina) - The main committee of the Kosovo Democratic Alliance (DSK), a Kosovo Albanian party with the largest membership, on Sunday elected a new 14-member presidency and adopted a declaration on the current situation in the province. The committee strongly condemned the slaughter of Albanians in the Drenica area and the violence of Serb police in Kosovo, asking that Serb forces withdraw from Kosovo. The DSK also called on the United States, European Union and other international factors to intervene immediately with the aim of stopping the terror against the unprotected Albanian population.
