ALLIANCE OF HUNGARIAN ASSOCIATIONS ESTABLISHED IN ZAGREB

( Editorial: --> 3740 ) ZAGREB, Feb 22 (Hina) - The Alliance of Hungarian Associations was established in Zagreb Saturday. Its task will be to adjust and define the common interests of the Hungarian minority in Croatia. The Alliance wishes to assemble all Hungarian associations, cultural societies and institutions, establish effective cooperation among them and stand for their interests, the Alliance said in a statement. The Alliance will deal with education, the media, publishing, cultural work, science, art, economy and social issues. Special attention will be given to the return of all Hungarians to their homes, assisting in and coordinating these efforts with the endeavours of competent Croatian state bodies, and contributing to the improvement of overall cooperation between Croatia and Hungary.
