PRISTINA, Mar 10 (Hina) - The United States special envoy for the
territory of the former Yugoslavia, Robert Gelbard, Tuesday
arrived in Pristina at the head of a US delegation.
Upon arrival, Gelbard began talks with Kosovo Albanian leader
Ibrahim Rugova.
Today police prevented representatives of the Kosovo human rights
and freedoms committee and a group of doctors from visiting Drenica
to attend the burial of 56 Albanians killed by Serbian police. Among
the doctors were pathologists who wanted to examine the bodies of
the victims.
Hina learned that several reporters were also stopped on their way
to Drenica.
The burial will be attended by a ten-member delegation of the
Democratic Alliance of Kosovo, which arrived in Drenica earlier
today.
