'FILE OF FOUR' DIRECTOR PHYSICALLY ATTACKED IN FRONT OF OWN HOUSE

ZAGREB, Dec 29 (Hina) - Croatian film director Jakov Sedlar was physically attacked around 1 a.m. on Wednesday in front of the building he lives in in Zagreb. Describing the events of the past night, Sedlar told reporters he heard the sound of a car and a swear word spoken when he was unlocking the front door of the building. When he turned around, half a brick flew an inch by his head, he said. Another two half-bricks were thrown from the direction of the car which the director said was dark blue or black in colour. One of the half-bricks broke the window on the front door of the building. Sedlar believes the incident is connected with the change in the agreed schedule for the television airing of his latest motion picture, "File of Four". The first part of the film, a story about the mass suffering of Croats in Bleiburg field in southern Austria shortly after the end of World War Two, aired on December 26, while the second part was to air on January 2, on the eve of parliamentary elections. Croatian Television today said in a statement it would air the film's second part on January 9, and repeat the first the day before. (hina) ha mm
