ZAGREB, Dec 20 (Hina) - The Dubrovnik-Neretva police department filed charges against 11 persons who insulted leaders of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) during their Sunday's visit to the
southern Adriatic town of Cavtat, the Croatian Interior Ministry reported on Monday. A group of 11 persons caused public disturbance, provoking and insulting the heads of the SDP and the HSLS while they were passing by a coffee shop and a restaurant in Cavtat, where a press conference was held. The police intervened following a report of a party activist, and after interrogation of the perpetrators, the charges were filed. The police had no knowledge of the SDP and the HSLS activities, so preventive measures could not be taken, read the police statement.
