CAKOVEC, Nov 27 (Hina) - In the last 48 hours, policemen in the north of Croatia (Medjimurje County) accepted 36 foreigners who had managed to enter Slovenia illegally and arrested 64 foreigners who were intending to cross the border
illegally. This is the biggest group of foreigners who planned to pass illegally from Croatia to Slovenia, said Medjimurje County Police Superintendent Marijan Varga. Slovene police first returned a group of 24 Turkish and Iranian subjects and afterwards 12 Chinese citizens. In addition, Croatian police arrested 64 Turks and Iranians in houses of people who, receiving money for that, helped foreigners to pass illegally the frontier in the Mura River Valley. Police are to pressed charges against foreigners for illegal crossing of the border and against Croatians for helping them do it.(hina) ms
