OSIJEK, Oct 26 (Hina) - Prefect of the eastern Croatian Osijek-Baranja County, Branimir Glavas, on Tuesday received the president of the Croatian Slovak Alliance, Josip Krasnovski. The Alliance's centre in Croatia is in the
Osijek-Baranja County, where about 4,000 members of this national minority live. Krasnovski said the Alliance of Slovaks held that the electoral bill forwarded into parliamentary procedure by the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party bench would, through the model of a rotating mandate system, increase the possibility of their representation in the Parliament, and thus, support it. He informed Glavas about the activities of Slovaks in the County, particularly in the preparations for a big exhibition to be opened in Bratislava in December "Slovaks in Croatia".(hina) lml jn
