ROME, Sept 26 (Hina) - Croatian Ambassador to Italy Davorin Rudolf was on Sunday pronounced honorary resident of Acquaviva, a town in Italy's region of Molise in which the Croat minority lives. Rudolf was bestowed this honour for
everything he had done in the promotion of relations between Croatia and Italy, particularly for the signing of a bilateral agreement on the recognition and protection of the autochthonous minority of Molise Croats. The town's mayor, Ivano Zara, said Rudolf had done a lot for Croats whose predecessors had arrived in Molise 500 years ago so they would not forget "their old, dear tongue". (hina) lml jn
