KOSOVO, Oct 17 (Hina) - Since the start of the deployment of international peace keepers (KFOR) in Kosovo, soldiers of the former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) have given them about 10,000 pieces of different weaponry now stored at
seven special arms depots, KFOR headquarters in Pristina said on Sunday. From June to 6 October, Kosovars handed over to KFOR 27,000 shells, 10,000 guns, 1,600 pistols, 14,000 mines, 900 automatic rifles, 500 anti-tank mines and 200 mortars. All weapons collected in this way are under strict control of KFOR, until a decision is made what to do with them.(hina) ms
