ZAGREB, Oct 5 (Hina) - "Know How Fund" of the British Government and a non-governmental organisation "Thomson Foundation", in cooperation with the Croatian Journalists' Association (HND), has initiated a new cycle of courses for
reporters on their coverage of the run-up to the election and the election in Croatia, announced the HND President Jagoda Vukusic at Tuesday's news conference. Vukusic said eight one-week courses would be held in Opatija, Zadar, Varazdin and Osijek, this and next month. The courses will be run by distinguished British journalists, who have earned experience in the coverage of elections. In addition, Croatian experts, and representatives of the ruling and opposition parties will be engaged in the courses so that they can acquaint reporters with their opinions on the role of the media in the pre-election and election period.
