ZAGREB, Sept 26 (Hina) - The fifth conference of the Association of Croatian Homeland War Invalids (UHDDR) ended on Sunday following the re-election of Tomislav Mercep as UHDDR president. Mercep said the association expected the
authorities to "strictly observe their obligations" from the Law on Croatian Soldiers. The UHDDR president said former communists were still within the authorities and accused some high state officials and public company directors of crime. Mercep also said there was a possibility for his association to join other Homeland War associations.(hina) rml
