ZAGREB, Sept 13 (Hina) - Croatian reporters were admitted to the Association of Journalists of Europe (AJE) on Sunday during the 37th Congress of this association in Berlin. Seventy persons (70) voted for the German AJE section's
proposal that Croatia may join the Association, five were against and five abstained in the vote, said the Croatian Journalists' Association on Monday. This European Association has now 28 members - national sections. At the two-day Berlin congress, Croatian reporters are being represented by Danko Plevnik, a columnist in "Slobodna Dalmacija" daily and Srecko Lipovcan, the chairman of the Croatian Journalists' Association central committee. In addition, Croatia's Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo Sanader took part in one of the third forums that are being organised within the congress.
