SPLIT SPLIT, Sept 17 (Hina) - The marking of September 18, the Day of the Croatian Navy, started by the opening of an exhibition of work of arts of Vinko Percic in the southern Adriatic city of Split Friday evening. In line with a
decision of the Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, the Croatian Navy Day is marked every year on September 18. Present at tonight's ceremony were the Commander of the Croatian Navy, Vice Admiral Vid Stipetic, an envoy of the Croatian President, Vice Admiral Davorin Kajic, representatives of the Slavonija Navy, Split mayor Ivan Skaric, the deputy head of the Croatian Armed Forces Main Staff, and others. The exhibition presented the art of Albrecht Duerer, Edgar Degas, Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, Marc Chagall, Henry Matisse, Oskar Kokoschka, Pablo Picasso, as well as the work of Croatian artists Mencij Clement Crnčić, Vladimir Becić, Ivo Dulčić, Miljenko Stančić, Ljubo Babić, Miroslav Kraljević,
