Military World Games. According to a statement from the President's Office, the delegations informed the President that Homeland Gratitude Day, August 5, was celebrated in a dignified fashion and with no incidents. There were no incidents during the Second Military World Games in Zagreb either, the delegations said, pointing out all 6,500 participants commended the hosts' organisation of the event and hospitality. This, the statement said, will have positive repercussions in the 78 countries from which participants came and wider. interior, who informed him about the marking of Homeland Gratitude
Day, and the recently closed Second Military World Games.

delegations informed the President that Homeland Gratitude Day,
August 5, was celebrated in a dignified fashion and with no
incidents.
There were no incidents during the Second Military World Games in
Zagreb either, the delegations said, pointing out all 6,500
participants commended the hosts' organisation of the event and

President Tudjman congratulated the event's organisers, stressing
the games, which ended in Zagreb on Tuesday, successfully presented
Croatia as a safe and welcoming country capable of organising even
the biggest sport manifestations.
The delegations comprised Defence Minister Pavao Miljavac,
Interior Minister Ivan Penic, Croatian army Chief-Of-Staff vice
admiral Davor Domazet, Croatian army chief inspector Lt. Gen. Ante
Gotovina, Interior Ministry state secretary Vjekoslav Brajovic,
the director of the Second Military World Games Institute, Lt. Gen.
Josip Lucic, and Croatian Air Force commander Major General Josip
Culetic.
On President Tudjman's side were Deputy Premier Jure Radic, the
President's Military Cabinet's Chief-Of-Staff, Staff Brigadier
Zivko Zrilic, the President's advisers Ivic Pasalic, Franjo
Kajfez, and Mirko Ramuscak, and the President's aide-de-camp,
Staff Brigadier Davor Puhovski.
