DUBROVNIK DUBROVNIK, Sept 15 (Hina) - A U.S. frigate "USS Elrod" entered the port of Gruz in Dubrovnik on Wednesday morning to pay visit to this southern Croatian town and the Croatian Navy (HRM). The 217-strong frigate, is being
currently deployed within the armed formation of "Theodore Roosevelt" carrier in the Mediterranean. The frigate's commander Robert Bougher was received by Dubrovnik-Neretva County and town authorities, and this afternoon he is to meet representatives of the Croatian Army. This U.S. ship will stay in Dubrovnik by 22 September. Its commander and U.S. Ambassador to Croatia, William Montgomery, will hold a reception during that time.
