ZAGREB, Sept 8 (Hina) - President of the Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS) and MP Vojislav Stanimirovic on Wednesday forwarded a letter to Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa expressing regret about the failure of the Serb
community to participate at the opening ceremony of the newly-reconstructed school in Vukovar (eastern Croatia), especially as the media had used this fact malevolently, he stressed. The Seventh elementary school was opened in Vukovar on September 6, reconstructed with the assistance of the Varazdin County. Not one representative of the Serb community was present at the ceremony. In the letter to Matesa, Stanimirovic expressed that the representatives of the Serb community did not ignore the opening ceremony, but had rather received invitations on which was written that the opening was being held at 1pm instead of 10am when the ceremony took place.
