PRISTINA, Aug 29 (Hina) - The newly-appointed United States (U.S.) Ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Richard Holbrooke, on Sunday met in Pristina with representatives of local Serbs and UN civil manager Bernard Kouchner. Serb
representative Momcilo Trajkovic told reporters after talks with Holbrooke that the possibility of any division of Kosovo into cantons had been excluded, unlike possibilities of creating security zones in which Serbs would be protected and continue a normal existence. Trajkovic announced the matter would be debated by the Kosovo Transitional Council. Ambassador Holbrooke said the U.S. did not support the idea of Kosovo in cantons. Holbrooke told reporters after meeting Kouchner that Kouchner was a very suitable person who had come to Kosovo at the right time. Liberation Army have recently taken part in some unacceptable
activities. The issue will be tackled by KFOR commander Michael
