ZADAR COUNTY ON SUNDAY ZADAR, Sept 6 (Hina) - Several fires broke out in Zadar County, southern Croatia, on Sunday, and all of them but one have been extinguished so far, the State Information Centre reported on Monday morning. A fire
which broke out at 16:55 hours Sunday on an area near Zemunik Gornji where mines have been planted was brought under control at about 20:00 hours last night thanks to the assistance of a fire fighting plane. It has not been put out completely and so far about 35 hectares caught the fire. Another seven fires which hit Zadar County yesterday were extinguished in the course of the day. Mostly dry grass and somewhere a few vine plants burnt in those blazes, the Information Centre reported.(hina) ms
