ZAGREB, Sept 1 (Hina) - Croatian member of Parliament, member of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS), Zeljko Pavlic, requested of Interior Minister Ivan Penic to acquaint him with the results of an investigation into the
whereabouts of money 'drained' from Croatian companies and banks, which are now being rehabilitated by budgetary funds. Pavlic is demanding exact information about initiated criminal proceedings, discovered channels for exporting money from the country, the amount of funds involved in the criminal charges, banks and countries into which the money is being transported. In a memo addressed to the president of the Croatian Parliament House of Representatives, Vlatko Pavletic, the HSLS MP recalled that, in answer to a question posed by his question at during question time at the Croatian Government, Penic confirmed an investigative body had been established.
