ZAGREB, Aug 11 (Hina) - The Croatian State Information Centre on Wednesday reported about six fires which hit the Zadar area on Tuesday. A fire which broke out at 12.15 between Zerava and Ninski Stanovi was extinguished at about 14:30
hours Tuesday. About 1,500 square metres of the oak forest burnt in the fire. Another fire broke out in a mine field between Zemunik Gornji and Skabrnja at 13:00 hours and was put out at 17:25. About ten hectares of macchia and grass burnt in the blaze. About 25 hectares of undergrowth and grass burnt in a fire which broke out at 15:30 hours by Bruvno near Gracac. Firemen, supported by one firefigthing plane, managed to extinguish the blaze shortly before 20:00 hours yesterday. On Tuesday afternoon three minor fires were reported near Zemunik Donji, Lepure and Stigada respectively. Furthermore, there were two fires in the Knin area and one in Zrnovnica near Split on Tuesday
