SPLIT SPLIT, Aug 12 (Hina) - Fires in the area of Kasteli, west of Split, were under control on Thursday afternoon, but a blaze near Seget Gornji in that region was still burning. In addition, another fire broke out at Zrnovnica,
north-east of Split, on Thursday and five hectares of macchia were caught, Split-Dalmatia County fire service reported on Thursday evening. Four fire-figthing planes, helicopters and about 500 firemen and Croatian soldiers are trying to put out all those fires.
