Vesna Skare Ozbolt on Wednesday evening in Vinkovci spoke with
Vukovar-Srijem county prefect Rudolf Koenig.
The talks focused mostly on the difficult economic and political
circumstances in that section of Croatia.

Speaking about political circumstances in the Croatian Danube
region, Skare Ozbolt invited local Serbs to assist in locating
grave sites of the victims of the Serb aggression.
She added that this was one way of establishing just peace and
cooperation between the local population.
Ozbolt referred to peaceful protests being held in several villages
in the region expressing her belief that these protests were
comprehensible and were not harmful.
