OSIJEK, Aug 17 (Hina) - The privatisation of Slavonska bank has been successfully completed after the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Austria's KaerntnerLandes und Hypothebank AG became its majority owners,
with more than 50 percent in shares, the bank's board of administration said on Tuesday. In the first stage of the privatisation, towards the end of last year, the strategic investors, the EBRD and the Klagenfurt-based Austrian bank, purchased 35 percent of shares in Slavonska bank from the State Agency for the Financial Rehabilitation of Banks and the Insurance of Deposits. The entire privatisation process was supervised by the Croatian National Bank, in keeping with Croatian regulations.(hina) ha
