ZAGREB, May 24 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Monday formulated a state budget revision for this year. According to the revision, the state budget has been cut by some US$14.3 million, with current expenditures reduced by some
ten percent, and capital ones by US$500 million, the government's Media and Public Relations Office said in a statement. The cuts in expenditures are aimed towards state saving on all levels, except in the part referring to state budget beneficiaries' salaries, towards finding additional sources for the financing of the pension and health insurance systems, and for paying out citizens' insured savings. An additional US$486 million has been ensured to that end via increased transfers to the Croatian Pension Insurance Bureau in the amount of US$214.7 million, to the Croatian Health Insurance Bureau in the amount of US$103 million, and US$168 million for citizens' insured savings.(hina
