ZAGREB, May 18 (Hina) - At a closed Tuesday session chaired by Premier Zlatko Matesa, the Croatian government adopted the principles of and outline sums for changes to the 1999 state budget. According to a statement from the
government's Media and Public Relations Office, the basic principles refer to cuts in current expenses, consistent saving measures for all budget beneficiaries, and cuts in capital expenditures in the part which is of no strategic significance for Croatia. By changing the state budget, the government is creating grounds for the financial rehabilitation of the Croatian Pension Insurance Bureau and the Croatian Health Insurance Bureau, and preconditions for paying out insured saving deposits, with the entire budget being lower than the present one. According to a statement from the government's Media and Public

international waters of the Adriatic Sea, and bound the ministries
of foreign affairs and defence to establish in cooperation with
NATO the extent of the phenomenon and report to the government.
