ZAGREB, Sept 21 (Hina) - Croatia's President Stjepan Mesic on Thursday received a delegation of the Croatian Institute for Human Rights and agreed that under his auspices a 27-29 September international conference on roles of
constitutional courts be held in the Croatian coastal town of Novi Vinodolski. During the reception, the Institute's head, Nikola Filipovic, spoke of the long and rich tradition of law in Croatia and stressed it was necessary to arrange Croatia as a law-based country. The chairman of the organising committee of the Novi Vinodolski conference, Jadranko Crnic, said this event would focus on man and the protection of human rights.
