ZAGREB, Sept 12 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament President Zlatko Tomcic held talks with the President of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, Lord Russel Johnston, in Zagreb on Tuesday. The talks focused on the possible
cancellation of the Council of Europe monitoring in Croatia, the Sabor's public relations office reported. Tomcic and Johnston are attending a conference of parliamentary presidents from Stability Pact member-countries, which is being held in Zagreb. The event has gathered some 150 participants. Johnston said the Council of Europe monitoring in Croatia would soon be cancelled, however, a permanent dialogue, as support for Croatia's democratisation, would continue to exist.
