PRIME MINISTER RACAN HOLDS TALKS WITH WORLD BANK DELEGATION

ZAGREB, June 14 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan on Wednesday received a delegation of the World Bank, headed by director of the World Bank for Croatia Andrew Vorkink. Racan informed Vorkink of measures Croatia took aiming at the stabilisation and development of economy. The Prime Minister congratulated Vorkink on his appointment to the duty of the new director of the World Bank for Croatia and expressed belief that cooperation between Croatia and the World Bank would develop to the satisfaction of both parties, read a statement issued by the Croatian Government Media and Public Relations Office. Also present at the meeting were Croatian first Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic, vice prime ministers Slavko Linic and Zeljka Antunovic and Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac.
