OSIJEK, June 7 (Hina) - The general Assembly of the Slavonska Bank dd Osijek on Wednesday decided that bank's profit in 1999, which amounted to 758,193 kuna (DM190,000), be divided in reserved funds, which aims at the consolidation of
the bank and its clients. Economic crisis in Croatia, particularly in Slavonia and Baranja, and the privatisation of the bank had an impact on business activities of the bank in 1999. In 2000, the reorganisation of the bank is expected in order for the bank to be high profitable in 2001, which was, as a strategic plan endorsed by owners of the Hypo Bank and the European Bank for the Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), said president of the Board Ivan Mihaljevic. According to him, the EBRD and the World Bank approved a 200 million kuna long-term loan for the financial consolidation of bank's clients.
