on Tuesday in Dublin held talks with Irish Foreign Minister Brian
Cowan on Zagreb's efforts invested in Croatia's joining European
integration and the return of refugees.
During its two-day visit to London and Dublin, a Croatian
delegation, headed by Minister Fizulic, presented Croatia's
economic possibilities to British and Irish investment bankers.
During the talks, Fizulic and Cowen discussed issues related to
Croatia's joining the European integration particularly the
progress in relations between Croatia and the European Union. One

Cowan offered help in undertaking measures for initiating
investments considering Ireland's great and good experiences in
the field of direct foreign investments.
Fizulic also held talks with Irish Finance Minister Charlie
McCreevey who informed the Croatian delegation of Ireland's
experiences and ways of conducting tax policy and attracting
foreign investors.
The Croatian delegation visited several Irish institutions which
play a significant role in the implementation of the policy of
Ireland's Government and the economic development of the country.
The institutions are the National Agency for managing public debt,
National Agency for Investments and the National Agency for the
education of tourism personnel.
A presentation on new possibilities of investing in Croatia was
held in the Irish Central Bank in the afternoon.
