Culo is currently somewhere between Dueseldorf and Frankfurt, one
of the organisers of Culo's endeavour, Slobodan Lang, said.
Culo started out at Easter and is planning to walk the 1,700
kilometres by June 11, Whit Sunday.
This is on average 42 kilometres a day, Lang told Friday's news
conference.
Numerous Croatian emigrants are supporting Culo on his way,
sometimes even walking with him for a length. He is being
increasingly approached by German reporters which is proof that his
journey is not in vain, Lang asserted.
He added Homeland War associations endorsed Culo's efforts.
Bosnian Croat Blaskic, who commanded the Croatian Defence Council
in Central Bosnia during Moslem-Croat conflicts was sentenced to 45
years in prison for war crimes on an individual and command basis by
the ICTY.
