employees, was held in the majority of Croatian media.

the existence and the trampling of the human and professional
dignity of journalists and media employees, was held in the
majority of Croatian media.#L#
Between 11.55AM and noon Wednesday, the work was interrupted in
almost all editorial offices in Croatia and a SNH proclamation,
which invited all journalists to "five minutes of booming silence",
was read.
Journalists of Croatian dailies "Vecernji List", "Jutarnji List",
"Vjesnik", "Slobodna Dalmacija", "Novi List", "Glas Istre" and
"Glas Slavonije", and weeklies "Globus", "Arena", "Mila",
"Glorija" participated in the protest.
Journalists of the Croatian Radio, Radio 101 and a series of other
local radio stations, interrupted their work for five minutes and
read the SNH proclamation on the air.
The protest was held in Hina and the Croatian Television, which
interrupted its programme and aired the SNH proclamation.
The SNH protest was supported by Alliance of Public Service Unions,
the Independent Unions of Croatia, the Association of Workers'
unions of Croatia and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of
Croatia.
